Baggage allowances vary depending on the airline you are flying with and where you are flying from and to.

Many airlines now offer a variety of economy fares which means that you may not have baggage included in your ticket price.

You may be able to check your baggage allowance on your STA Travel Account.
Please click here to view a list of airline baggage policies. *STA Travel is not responsible for omissions or changes to the information on this page.

You can also check on the airline's website for general information about baggage allowance.

Please note that there are some variations to airline's standard policies, i.e. Jet Airways student/youth fares permit 1 piece of baggage at 30kg.
Some airlines now charge for baggage on internal flights within the USA.
Budget airlines such as Virgin Blue and Virgin Australia also charge for baggage allowance.
