Scam warning

We are aware that there are some scam emails and phone calls in circulation that claim to be from STA Travel and offer visa and work permit services.

These are scam emails and phone calls designed to extract financial information. Please ignore them.

Please note signs of a scam email:

  • looks official and appears to come from an STA Travel employee
  • Promises visa, work permit and employment services overseas
  • has spelling and grammar errors
  • uses improper company trademarks
  • is sent from a free, non-corporate email account such as Gmail or Hotmail
  • requests personal information and immediate payment up front

Signs of a scam phone call include:

  • Unusual or withheld phone number
  • Only voicemail available
