Gatwick’s runway is currently available and a limited number of aircraft are scheduled for departure and arrival. Gatwick continues to advise passengers to check the status of their flight with their airline before travelling to the airport as departures and arrivals will be subject to delays and cancellations.

Live flights can be checked on the flight tracker here: https://www.gatwickairport.com/flights/

Please see the statement below issued by Gatwick Airport at 06:14, 21/12/18. You can view the statement on the link below:

Customers imminently due to travel to or from Gatwick Airport should liaise with their airline and their airline to establish whether their flight has been affected by the situation.

As a precaution, customers are advised to carry essential items such as medication, baby formula, nappies etc. and items to keep their children occupied in their hand luggage.

A number of airlines have statements on their websites regarding the disruption.
