Australian Bush Fires - November 2019

Added 13th November 2019 - Updated 4th December 2019

Several bush fires are currently burning across Northern New South Wales (NSW) extending into the Sunshine Coast region in Queensland, with many residents advised to evacuate.

The NSW Fire Service has advised people in areas at risk to move to larger towns, shopping centres or facilities and to keep away from bush land areas.

If you are in or near an affected area, stay safe and follow the advice of the local authorities:

In the event of emergency, always dial Triple Zero (000)

At present all flights are operating as usual. Please re-confirm your flight with your airline directly at least 72 hours before departure, by visiting their website and checking that your flight is running on the same day and at the same time.

Please follow the travel advice of your Government:
